Not the Doobie Brothers. Our own young people taking their music to the street, outside Ritchies IGA at various times during festival week. Organised by Gary Lindsay.
ART EXHIBITION
All the art entries from the art competition.
Includes a raffle for a big basket of goodies which gives you a vote in the Peoples Choice art award.

A spectacular event with music to bring joy to your heart and tears to your eyes, from Abba to the 1812 overture.

CREATIVE STATIONS
Paint on canvass, bling up a bag, make a card, painting plaster of paris, create a key ring and much more. Be part of the creative crew.

THE MOTH OF MOONBI
Classic Cinema with local connections!
A 1928 Australian movie by Charles Chauvel. Filmed in the Fassifern district with local residents in the cast. Meet the grandson of Charles Chauvel and filmmaker Andrew Best.

MAKE ‘EM LAUGH
Funny? You gotta be joking! Stand-up, Skits, jokes, songs, one liners. C’mon comedians. Come and do your thing.

READING FOR WRITING
Books that teach, books that inspire. Bring your favourite book and discuss how reading can improve your writing. For all writers beginner or experienced. Let’s share our knowledge.

SIP and PAINT
Try your hand at painting and have fun at this social event. Includes a pre drawn canvas, paints, artist instructions and a glass of wine, beer or soft drink.

YOUTH SHOWCASE
A highly entertaining magical night, event featuring local kids aged from 4 years performing and dancing in this special event. Fantastic props. Music the kids love.

FESTIVAL FINALE
Saturday 6th September 7 – 9pm
A night to celebrate the creative festivities of the Festival including the stunning outfits designed and modelled in this night of fashion and wearable art, the presentation of the Art and Writing prizes, plus some great entertainment.
All festival events are family friendly with no language unsuitable for children.
